VATA Annual
Art Show
Art Show Theme
This year, we are emphasizing "Creative Recognition: The Importance of Healing Art" as a way to celebrate and uplift the significance of Art Therapy, especially as we progress toward state-wide licensure. VATA hopes to bring attention and awareness to the benefits of art making, creative processes, and the positive effects these can have for personal and/or therapeutic art.
Anyone can participate!
VATA members, non-members, students of any age/grade, and the general public who support the field of art therapy can participate in the art show.

For VATA members: 10 CE's will be offered for participating in this juried exhibition. In order to earn these credits, you have to submit at least 1 art piece, hold art therapy credentials, and participate in the juried portion of the show. Should you enter more than 1 piece, that does not permit you to earn any additional CEs. If you have already earned CEs for participating in a juried exhibit in the past 5 years, you are not eligible for additional CEs in this category. Members will be noted for superlative based accolades versus numerically ranked like in a traditional competition.
